Rachel began painting in 2007, and is taught by Plymouth artist, Paul Acraman. www.paulacramanartist.co.uk
Rachel is inspired by the varied landscape of Britain, and the generations of artists who have recorded it......from Turner and Constable in the 18th century through to Kurt Jackson and John Virtue today. Having lived in Middlesex, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Orkney Isles and Devon, she has been fortunate to have absorbed many different landscapes over the years. She is currently studying for a degree in Art History with the Open University.
